I have to apologize. I really can’t help myself. My favorite cookie in the whole wide world is a really good, fresh out of the oven, chocolate chip cookie (with a glass of milk, of course).

So I just couldn’t pass up a chance to try another of these delectable recipes.

Boy, am I glad I did! You know, I don’t think these even had a chance to cool down completely before they were gone! My husband was home and we had a few friends over (my unsuspecting guinea pigs! ~evil cackle~).

Well, the laughs were on me, because I hardly got to have any. I think I managed to get a hold of about 1 1/2 of these puppies before they were gone. I add that 1/2 in there because one of them broke when I picked it up, and my husband swooped in to grab the half that had fallen back on the plate. In fact, I don’t even think the piece I ended up with even qualifies as half. So we’ll say I ended up with 1 1/4 of these goodies.

Yep, he just swooped right in there and stole my cookie…

He slept on the couch that night.
